A long day of work, stress with deadlines swift approaching, lots of overtime recently, but the day started and ended with blessings from the Lord and reminded me that I have much to be thankful for.
On the way to work, the sunrise was pretty, the conversation with my brother was good, I had a coffee to sip on, and after work my brother and I stopped at his property, walked around the farm, enjoyed the evening for a few minutes while dropping off some equipment, watched the sun lower in the western sky, grabbed a crisp pepper from the garden to munch on on the way home, I grabbed a shower (with hot water which I am so thankful for), and enjoyed the remainder of the evening with my family.
So often the small things in life are overlooked, but they are what composes life itself.
There were, of course, other blessings throughout the day, but these stood out to me today. I am so thankful that God loves us so much that He fills our days with "little" blessings!
